Embroidered Tulle Panel - A Rare Find

You simply do not find pieces like this every day.  I have personally been collecting this type of embroidered tulle for many years and would only buy the pieces that were in the most pristine condition. This one has been stored in a box for over 30 years. When I found it in a small antique store I thought it would make a great front panel for a dressing table skirt and that is what I planned on using it for. I simply never got around to making it. It would also make a beautiful top layer for a dress, doll clothing or even a valance of sorts. It is a very large piece and blemish free. The raw "seamed" edge measures 46 inches wide. The bottom measures approximately 61 inches wide. The panel is 23 inches deep. There are approximately 4 tiny pinholes, but for the most part this piece is in extraordinary condition considering how old it is. There are no stains or rust and no other blemishes that I can see and I have examined it very carefully.
