This pair of pierced earring is a real show stopper! The perfect addition for the formal gala or a premier event; these earrings by Fantasia are sure to be noticed. The sparkle alone is not to be believed (see video below). They are simply one of the most gorgeous earrings I have ever owned. I did not wear them often but when I did, there were always favorable compliments on how stunning they were!
Each earring consists of seven stones that look just like "the real thing," three Marquise and four Pear shaped. When I purchased them in the early 1980's I asked the jeweler what the carat weight would be in each earring if they were authentic diamonds. His guess was about 7 carats in each for a whopping 14 carats total! So this will give you an idea of just how substantial they are. They measure approximately 1 inch long by 5/8th inch wide. When I wore them I added a stabilizing guard (plastic disc) to the back of the earring to make them fit sturdier on my ear. They come with a hinged piece on the back that closes for added security. Jewelry designed by Fantasia is still being sold today but can only be found in high end stores like Neiman Marcus or fine jewelry stores.
