Dominique Designed Black and Gold Beaded Gown

This beautiful silk gown is straight from the 1980's era of "Glitz and Glam." This black and gold beaded gown has held up well. It was worn once and then packed away in a box for more than 25 years. It is in excellent condition. There are no tears, rips, stains, flaws or blemishes that I have been able to find.  It is clean and odor free and was stored in a non-smoking home. All the beading looks intact. It is a size MEDIUM but has a slim fit through the hips. It does not flair, the cut of the dress is straight. It measures approximately 54 inches in length. This measurement was taken from the shoulder to the bottom of the longest draping leaf along the hem while hanging on a hanger. When I wore it I belted it with a gold lame sash ( not included) which then made it a bit shorter. I am 5' 3" tall and the length was adequate. If you are shorter, say 5'1" or 5' 2" I think the length would work better to accomodate 3 or 4 inch heels. There are shoulder pads in this gown, but they are not huge. They are relatively modest for the time period so one will not look like a "line backer" while wearing this. The fall leaves cascading down the front of the dress makes this a great Autumn themed gown or party dress for the holidays!

Tag reads: 100% SILK, Hand beaded. Made in China. Sponge wipe only with cold water and mild detergent if needed. Do not Dry Clean. Do not wash.
