RICHARD WINSHIP

Richard Winship was greatly influenced by his early childhood in Europe. With his father stationed in Germany, he was exposed to a culture saturated with art and architecture. Richard showed an ability to draw quite young, and upon returning to the States, fell in love with the American West. He went to school in Colorado, where he got into the motion picture business. His work has appeared in a number of major features. Traveling from one location to another, fortuned this artist to experience some of the most incredible landscapes in North America.

The great deal of time and unusual amount of care devoted to a single pastel reveal the love Richard holds for his subject, the Earth.
