Paco Young

Paco Young was born in 1958 in Mississippi and grew up in Nashville, Tennessee in a family of musicians. He received his art education from the Memphis Academy of Arts. He graduated in a BA in Fine Arts in painting, minoring in sculpture. After graduation he began selling his landscapes. He traveled extensively, and he had many exhibits nationwide. His paintings tell a story with his bold brush strokes. Many of his paintings come from his time spent in the Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. He has described himself has being impatient, spontaneous and restless in his painting.
