TERRY DONAHUE
Duluth, Minnesota native Terry Donahue is rapidly becoming known as one of the country's premier wildlife artists. During his childhood he recalls frequent backyard visits from black bear and mooose, instilling within him his repect and fascination for wildlife.
Mr. Donahue's first and greatest influence was his eldest brother, also an artist, who recognized his ability and encouraged and challenged his talent. By the fourth grade his brother had Terry painting with oil on canvas. Terry attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha where he received his BFA. After an extensive career in commercial art, Terry began to devote all of his time to fine art. Through the use of pastels, Terry was able to create a brilliant sense of motion as well as to breathe life into his wildlife subjects.
Terry has successfully managed to achieve his own artistic identity. His works are currently displayed in both private and public collections while several publications have featured articles on Terry and his works. Terry currently resides in Omaha, Nebraska.
