William Bouguereau is unquestionably one of history's greatest artistic geniuses. Considering his consummate level of skill and craft, and the fact that the great preponderance of his works are life-size, it is one of the largest bodies of work ever produced by any artist. Add to that the fact that fully half of these paintings are great masterpieces, and we have the picture of an artist who belongs like Michelangelo, Rembrandt and Carravaggio, in the top ranks of only a handful of masters in the entire history of western art.

We have dozens of Bouguereau images in our eBay Store. You would no doubt recognize many of them. Any of the images we have can be laid out and framed as you see this one. They can be done in either silver of gold frames. Email me direct at [email protected] if you do not see the one you want already framed and listed. We can add it to the Store for you.
These are not massed produced items We do this up to order. Because of that we occasionally have to substitute frames to a similar profile. We do not do this often but occasionally we are in between shipments or the manufacture changes the frame and fails to notify us. The frame will always be of equal or greater value.
