This is a MARX Toys Lone Ranger Double Target from 1938. This 72 YEAR OLD tin lithographed toy is in absolutely stunning condition for its age. The original box still showcases the beautiful art and instructions, and is still structurally sound, although it should be handled carefully. The lithographed target is simply gorgeous measuring 9.5" x 9.5", bright colors, fantastic art, and it honestly looks brand new, the front is flawless with only some exceedingly minor surface scratches, the back has suffered some very minor scratches as well, THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO DENTS. The original stand is still in-tact, along with the exceedingly fragile and always lost spring loaded latch wire. The last time I saw one of these sell it was at a live auction, it was without the box, and without the wire stand, and it sold for $375. YOU WILL NOT SEE AN EXAMPLE OF THIS PIECE IN THIS CONDITION VERY OFTEN, IF EVER!!!
