This is an absolutely beautiful antique serpent bracelet we have just received into our antiques mall. It's made of gold which is covered on the top with stunning cobalt enamel! There are 44 old European cut diamonds on the snake's head and the eyes are genuine brilliant red rubies. This bracelet dates from around 1850 and a true work of art. You can see from our pictures it was carefully detailed with additional lovely gold patterns near the joints. It is in surprisingly good condition with only a few pressure dings in the enamel as you can see from our photos. We were able to find only a few comparisions of this 150+- year old bracelet and you will see that ours is a real bargain! The comparables are pictured below along with a video and larger pictures.
