This 1927 Gibson Banjo TB250 "Mastertone" Tenor Banjo (serial #8719-80) is in excellent condition.  The parts are all original and the banjo was completely refinished in 1970 by a former employee of Gibson at Satterly and Chapmen.  Purchased in 1963 from the original owner...the banjo has NOT been used for approximately 40 years...it has been in the case and in a warm environment.  The case was also reconditioned in 1970.

Please bid carefully and ask questions.  I am selling this Banjo for a friend and I will do my best to get questions answered within 24 hours.  There will be no refunds and this item is being sold "as-is" but you need'nt worry, this wonderful banjo will be worth your investment.  My friend says it is time for some new fingers to lovingly strum her...he played her back in the 1960's in Shakey's Pizza!

There was a question about the "sound/tone" of the banjo when it is actually being played, to put it into words, the owner says this "excellent resiliency, very good tone when played at high volume, no rattle.  It has a nice sharp tone with no 'mush'.  The tone has been described, by other banjo players, as excellent."
