All original, this metal jug is painted a deep blue, and shows a bold manufacturer's label that reads: "Macomb Thrift Jug, Especially designed for carrying liquids or foods". It holds 1 gallon of liquid, and seals tight with an inner and outer lid. There is even a 1/4" thick ceramic lining. The jug has a wooden handle and an unusual raised bottom.
