The original Tyrannosaurus rex (T-REX) tooth was found at the Ruby site in Butte County, South Dakota USA and is now in the collection of the South Dakota School of Mines' Museum of Geology in Rapid City, South Dakota. This T-REX tooth is from the upper front, pre maxillary. This MUSEUM QUALITY T-REX tooth is 4" tall. The tooth is also hand painted and is made from plaster of paris with a very nice detailed finish. Also comes with a data card to tell its story.
This tooth is a museum quality replica. Unlike the plastic or resin ones, these are made from plaster of paris so they look and feel as real as it gets.
These handmade stands are made from SOLID OAK and varnished to a glossy shine. Each stand has a back bar to hold the tooth up at an angle to show it off at its best. Each stand is 3 1/2" deep and 4" wide and comes with a name plate, (gold engraving plate) with ENGRAVED LETTERS "T-REX". This stand also comes with felt corners on the bottom to protect surface tops. When installing the support bar, point the top curve to the rear (see picture). Thanks for looking
