This wax doesn't produce smoke during burning. Lighting a pyramid candle for the first time, only burn for 15 minutes, then snuff, for the wax to harden again, then repeat. Once you have followed these instructions it can then be lit for 4-5 hours at a time. Candles should only burn for 4-5 hours at a time and then snuffed (although, I burn mine all day because I can't help myself, they are so delicious)
