For your consideration Canarywood bowl blank. Its heartwood color can vary a fair amount, from a pale yellow-orange to a darker reddish brown, usually with darker streaks throughout. Pale yellow sapwood is sharply demarcated from heartwood. Color tends to darken and homogenize with age. This bowl blank is paraffin waxed to protect from defects. Extremely useful for knife handles, game calls, pool cues, fine furniture, guitar headplates, necks, tailpieces, gun/knife handles, musical instruments and a variety of other turnings.
