You are looking at a mixed lot of gemstones. This is a lot of natural gemstones. The gems are ~8x6mm pear shape color change amethyst, ~4mm sky blue topaz, ~5x3mm London Blue Topaz, and a ~5x3mm Colombian Emerald. For the amethyst, the color change is from deep purple to pinkish purple. I am not sure what sort of treatment allows the change to take place. When I purchased the lot from the jewelry store auction, they were marked as :strong 90% color change). I might be color blind, because I don't see a "strong" color change. In my estimate, the color change is under 50%. The depth of the gems in those lots (I have 5 of them) is between ~3.4mm and 4.7mm. They have luster(plenty of it), and they do sparkle a lot.Carat weight is between ~0.90ct and 1.10ct.My wife is an artist. She was asked to design jewelry for a local goldsmith. with the economy the way it is, the goldsmith had to close shop. I am auctioning off the gemstones that went with my wife's designs. There are certain gemstones
well known for heavy inclusion
( emerald, ruby, tourmaline,
peridot...), and my gems are
not exempt from that. Also,
there are gems that look
identical but are from
different gemstone families like
the colorless aqua, topaz,
sapphire, or the green
diopside, tsavorite garnet, and
chrome tourmaline. For those
types of gemstones, I
will identify them as one
specific gemstone ONLY if I
purchased them as such. For
example, I purchased a couple
of White Sapphire Parcels a
few years back. If I sell a
colorless gemstone that is from
those parcels, I will identify
the gemstone as a White
Sapphire. If I sell a colorless
gemstone that is from a "Mixed
Gemstone " buy, I will identify
it as white topaz/aqua?.
International Shipping
- We assume No Responsibility for orders shipped to foreign countries. When you place your order with us, you are assuming all Risks for Lost, Stolen, Delayed or Impounded Orders. - If the package is lost, stolen or seized by Customs - for any reason - and we do not receive the package back, we will Not issue you a refund. Foreign packages that are lost or stolen will not be refunded. If we do receive the package back after being seized, you are still responsible for the shipping charges.
