Antique/Vintage Brass Hurricane Wall Scone / Table Lamp
This is a vintage brass hurricane Wall or table lamp The base is polished brass with a tall half moon back
Another very old estate find along with 2 of my other listings which are electric.
this one is a candle holder, the chimney seems to have been replaced, it
is clear and has what looks like a frosted snowflake design all around it.
Frosted writing on it says,
its a PYREX Brand, made in U.S.A. for
F.T.D.A. 1980
I am not an expert, but its all brass as far as I can tell, all of the brass is original including the felt bottom.
At the top of the base where the glass chimney sits is a fancy brass border.
The felt bottom prevent furniture scratching when used as a table lamp.
The half moon brass backing has the hook opening for hanging as a wall scone

Size
Lamp measures about 15 1/4" tall
Base is about 5 1/2" across and
The chimney measures about 8" tall and is about 4 1/2" at the widest with a 2 1/2" base and 3 1/4" top
the candle part is for a tapered candle.

Age & Condition
I am not sure about the exact age but it is vintage and has been very much used.
There are some minor scratches on the brass but mainly on the backing facing the wall, aparently from hanging.
I can see no dents, and it needs a little polish.
The overall condition is very good.

This beautyful antique/vintage Hurricane lamp is a very nice and attractive addition to the home decor and would look great as a wall scone or table lamp.
