Primitive Cookie Jar Treetrunk Crock Stoneware  Vintage Search Description  Primitive Cookie Jar Treetrunk Crock Stoneware Vintage This unique cookie jar looks like a treetrunk house and a gingerbread house mixed together. for ~~~ Homemade Cookies ~~~ ~~~ Age & Condition This Stoneware crock  cookie jar is aparently quite old. ~ has 2 fine cracks at the inside upper part of the jar close together and 1 across from them ~~~  ~ there are several chipped spots on the underside of the lid, and it appears there has been a repair some time ago. Fortunately none of the chips are visible when the lid is in place. The upper side of the lid has a square brown area, perhaps it used to have a chimney in that spot. ~ ~ It is in Much used condition.   I just know its really old, it came from a really old estate. On the bottom there is what looks like 100, the rest I cannot decifer. (looks like "Tlpuy"or "Tlpcy") I'm clueless on that. ~~~  This stoneware crock cookie jar is a bit heavy.  With the lid on  it stands 8 1/2" tall x 7 1/2" across at the lids widest. ~~~ It will still hold a lot of goody homemade cookies. ~~~ Great for the cookie lovers home and kitchen. ~~~  And if you have a log cabin, like gingerbread cookies and tree houses, this is the cookie jar that fits into all these categories just by looks.
