Exelent for the Victorian home decor collection.
This is a fine, beautiful vintage Victorian gold trim style table lamp. The delicate pearl white glass has 6 clear diagonal lines that are decorated with a raised pearl floral design and gold trim leafs. There are 5 clear rings around the glass with a fine gold trim line in the center of them.
The glass part sits on a silver plate with 4 feet. The table base is brass with a fancy lace style design. The center rod, light socket and shade seat are also brass. The on/off turn switch is at the bulb socket.
the shade is slightly off white with silky twirl fringes at the bottom and scroll type trim at the top. There is a felt cover covering the brass base to prevent furniture damage.
Size
Lamp with shade is aprox 28" tall. Glass part is aprox 12" tall x 6" across, Brass base is 7" across. - Shade is 11" tall x aprox 18" across at bottom, x 9" across top.
Age & Condition
I'm not sure of the exact age, but its very old, ca mid century. The shade is in pretty good shape, a minor flaw is at the bottom trim seam. There is some visible gold loss in the fine gold trim ring lines, but very minor wear on the gold trim leafs.
one of the 4 feet under the silver plate, appears to have been broken only the part attached to the the silver plate is there, its too short to reach, so it sits on a small piece of wood instead of the brass base.
