Vintage Saks Fifth Ave.Turquoise Beaded Eve. Bag

This auction is for a stunning vintage Turquoise Beaded Saks Fifth Avenue Evening Bag. This handbag was created between the 40's and 50's and is in remarkable condition for its age. Turquoise is a favorite color of mine. If I were to try and give all the little details about this rare gem I would be here all night. This handbag is in great condition: it has no cuts, tears, rips, ink marks, it has nearly all its beads, and it has turquoise on the clasp/closure. Also the metal used here is brass/copper. There is a little mark inside on each side of the fabric from the metal hardware rubbing against it. You not only get the Purse but you get the matching coin purse and mirror and holder as well. Since when do you find a 60-70 year old handbag with it's original coin purse and mirror and cover? Probably like never, and this set would have also had a comb. A rare gem indeed, and in need of a good home with lots of TLC! The bag measures 9" across, 8.5" tall, 2" wide at the bottom, and 7" wide at the mouth.
