This IR Thermometer model with Laser guide
has a measuring range of -50~280°
or -58~572°F. In addition to temperature
measurement, it is also capable to measure ambient temperatures
from 0~40°C (32-104°F). The 12:1
distance spot size, 8-14µm
spectral response and 0.95
preset emissivity completes the major features.
It can safely measure the surface temperatures of hot, hazardous,
reflective, shiny, hard-to-objects, sensitive or liquid
based objects with ease. The Laser pointer is built-in and
can be switched on & off. It has as a guide to increase
ease and accuracy of aiming for a more precise measurement.
Most organic materials and painted or oxidized surfaces
have 0.95 emissivity which is preset in this unit. Shiny
or polished metal surfaces' temperature can also be measured
by this non-contact thermometer. Results along with the
other icons showing the type of current operation are displayed
in its large LCD. It has Backlight which can be turned
on and off to facilitate easy viewing at poorly lighted
area.
