Examples of non-magnetic coating layer:aluminum, chrome, copper, enamel, rubber, lacquer, dye,powder, varnish & paint. Other coating layers are thefollowing: galvanizing layer, lacquer layer, porcelain enamellayer, phosphide layer, copper tile, aluminium tile, somealloy tile, paper. Samples of magnetic substrate are thefollowing: steel, iron, nickel, alloy and magnetic stainlesssteel. While NF probe (Eddy Current) measuresthe thickness of nonconductive coating layers on non-ferroussubstrate.
