GREAT Photo-Album DOMBAI - SOVIET WINTER RESORT

You are bidding on a Rare photo-album “DOMBAI”. Dombai is a mountainous country in Karachayevo-Cirkessia Republic (part of the Russian Soviet Socialist Republic). It's situated in the Kuban River basin, Nothern Caucasus. The authors of the album have tried  to show unique wild nature, luxuriant mountain vegetation and various Animal life, active rest Soviet people in mountains: equestrian sport, mountaineering, hang-gliders and mountain-skiers; show natives of  Dombai at work and at leisure,  theirs customs and folk dresses, etc.

All the photos were made by famous Soviet photographer Alexander Markelov.There are 131 color illustrations in the album.
