17th Century Handblown Onion Bottle (Green) Pirate Rum Bottle
This piece is a historical reprodution. 17th cnetury style bottle. Named after its similar appearance to a onion. The bottle was the result of the needs from tavern owners who desired a more stable bottle, which was less prone to breakage in the taverns. The onions neck was much shorter than earlier bottles and the squat broad base was a much more stable form. Very common for use by sailors and pirates.
6 inches tall and 5 inches wide.
