17th Century Handblown Pirate Caribbean Rum Bottle
17th Century Handblown Pirates of the Caribbean Rum Bottle
Bottles of this style were the most common glass vessels in the first half of the 17th century and were used for storing of wine, rum & wiskey. Green is the most common color. Their use in the Caribbean was wide spread where literally hundreds were recovered especially from ship wrecks. This reproduction is based on an artifact found in the Caribbean. This piece measures approximately 11" high and 4.25" wide.
This piece is hand-blown and crafted to details of the original. The natural color of glass is green so if you seek historical accuracy then your best selection is the green glass items. Since every piece is hand blown and crafted there will be slight irregularities and therefore no two items will be exactly the same.
DO NOT PUT THESE HANDBLOWN GLASS ITEMS IN A DISHWASHER OR OVEN THEY ARE TEMPERATURE SENSITIVE.
