This DVD player has a  USB port on the back, You can plug in a USB thumb drive loaded with pictures, MP3s, or Video files such as Divx, Xvid, AVI and play them on your TV. Another oddity about this player is that on some of the Region 1 DVDs I have tested, the movie starts playing back right away, skipping over the FBI Warnings and trailers. So, I think the player is region free, meaning you can play imported DVDs on it as well. This a good deal!
