Fan Speed and Light Control

The speed control for the fan motor is in excellent working condition

But

The light dimmer does not work. The light will turn on and

off with no problem.

This fan control was taken out of a fan display that never

had any power to it. Don't know why the light dimmer does

not work. I tested the control to see if it worked and that is when

I found that the light dimmer did not function.
