Description:
This is an extremely rare 1908-1915 complete writings of Elbert Hubbard. There is volume #6 missing from this set. It has a total of 19 volumes with the one missing. These books were made at the Roycroft campus in East Aurura, NY and from what I understand hand made. Each book is leather bound and shows an atrs and craft look to it. Each one is Hand signed and numbered. These Author editions were limited to 1000 copies. This set is 660/1000. They are extremely in good condition considering they are over 100 years old. They are not perfect, there are a few dent and a couple scrapes on some, but the bindings all look good. I look around the web and only found a couple sets of these and they went anywhere from $5000 and up. Since it is missing volume 6 I reduced the price alot. Dont be afraid to make an offer as I do not know their true value. All I can say is they are impressive books. I will offer free shipping with these as I dont have a clue what it would cost to ship these. It will have to be shipped two or three packages. Insurance will also be included.

I dont know much about Elbert hubbard other than he was born June 19, 1856 and died on the Lusitania outside Ireland when a german submarine torpedoed the boat. He was founder of the Roycroft Shop in East Aurura and is sometimes called the first Hippi. Some of his inspirations were Emerson, Whitman and William Morris.

because of Ebay's new rules to not allow us to offer insurance we have decided to include insurance on all breakable packages going out. We have added $1.00 to the handling fee to offset this cost to us. Even though it will cost another $1 higher, you will have piece of mind that all packages will be insured.

On our Carnival glass, these always have straw marks and slight imperfections. I have yet to see a truly perfect one. We will try to point out all of these to the best of our abilities.
We buy alot of our items at auctions. Keep that in mind when buying. I do not know if they were smokers or was sitting in attic for years. There might be a smell to it. I will try to say when I smell an odor, but my sniffer dosent work great all the time and may miss some.
If you receive an item and it arrives damaged, you must notify us immediatly so we can get the claim process started. It can take up to 30 days to receive monies. You must keep the item and all original packaging until monies are refunded. Sometimes the insurance carrier wants the item and other times they don't. We refund you as soon as they are paid by the carrier. We have only had to do this twice in a long time but they both went smoothly.

You can return your item within 7 Days of Receipt for a refund if the item is not as described. Alot of people are returning just because they paid to much or they decided they don't want it.
