IGR is a synthetic juvenile hormone "look-alike"
which disrupts the normal growth development of bedbugs and roaches. Bedbugs
and roaches exposed to IGR concentrate will become adults incapable of
reproducing, thus ending the cycle of an infestation. Use the concentrate in
apartment buildings, hospitals, hotels/motels, residential homes, nursing
homes, and marine vessels. Because of its broad labeling, it can be used in
many sensitive areas where other sprays cannot. It is an excellent
accompaniment to baiting programs for cockroaches, and it can be tank mixed
with insecticides for treating bed bugs, roaches, or other listed pests.
Not for use as the
sole protection from listed pests, especially bed bugs and cockroaches.
Bed Bugs: Apply to harborage points mentioned above; in
addition, under beds, bottom side of box springs (do not treat linens and
mattresses), under and behind night stands, to points where carpet and wall
meet, cracks in cove base, molding, and other areas where bedbugs harborage.
Retreat at 14 days for heavy infestations. IGR cannot be used as the sole
treatment for bed bugs.
