Pro-Stat® Advanced Wound Care is a high calorie, complete protein liquid, with added Arginine, Citrulline, Cystine, Zinc, and Vitamin C.  It is the only wound care supplement to contain Citrulline, a precursor to Arginine increasing nitric oxide production, (thus increasing blood flow to the wound and collagen formation).  This uniquely engineered combination of ingredients provides a synergistic approach to wound healing while reducing the need for multiple supplements and added cost. Nitric oxide is essential for wound healing.  It increases blood and oxygen flow to the wound, increases collagen formation, reduces inflammation and kills bacteria all helping to close wounds.  Arginine is the only producer of nitric oxide, however, 40% of ingested arginine is broken down by the intestine and liver making less available for nitric oxide production.  Citrulline, prevalent in watermelon, converts to arginine but is not broken down like arginine.  This conversion allows for more nitric oxide production thus facilitating healing.  Citrulline has been shown to be more effective than arginine in raising plasma arginine levels. Return Policy Damaged products: Review your ordered product.  A notification on any defective orders must be given 2 business days after delivery.   Please Contact us at (877) 711-2424 and we will replace your order and cover shipping charges. Return a product: If you receive a product and it is not what you expected it to be, most products can be returned. There is a 20% restocking fee to all returns that are not damaged.  Product must be in its original packaging with all Instruction/Warranty paperwork. Product must be unused. All Returns must be complete within 30 days. All parts orders are non-returnable. Use RMA number: The RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number must be visible on each package. Items returned without an RMA# will be refused and returned back to you. Returned products must be in new condition, in the original packaging with all paper documentation. We will make every attempt to stop your order from shipping; however we cannot guarantee that it hasn't shipped. Normal cancellation fee is 5% if your order has been processed.
