Manufactured in 1956 at the Kalamazoo Factory in Michigan.

 

Purchased new in 1956 by Well known Folk Singer/Song Wrighter Jim Garland. Mr.Garland is honored

at the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame along with his

sisters Sarah Ogan Gunning and Aunt Molly Jackson. Gun Toting Singer/Songwighters from the 20's

through the 70's.

 

Mr.Garland was most noted for writing several songs made famous by Pete Seeger-"I Don't Want

Your Millions Mister","Hard Times in Coleman's Mines",

"Ballad of Harry Simms"along with other of songs of the times.
