​Gorham Silversmiths  - 1988 Sterling Snowflake 19th Edition - The size of this ornament is about  3-1/2" High X 3" Wide.  The Gorham Snowflake Series started in 1970.  It is marked Gorham Sterling, Gold-Filled YearMark Christmas, 1988.

The Gorham Snowflake series is one of the most collected series in all of the Sterling ornaments. This ornament is used and in excellent condition.  Comes with a white gift box, and a Pouch.

In 1884, Gorham opened a store in the Ladies' Mile shopping district in Manhattan, New York City, but moved in 1905 to a Fifth Avenue building which was designed for the by Stanford White. In 1906 Gorham purchased another long-time rival, Kerr & Co, which was based in New Jersey.
