Frank Lewis of the Ruby Red Grapefruit Mail order co. in Alamo Texas Commissioned Sculpture artist Luther Bookout, (who at the time was the producer of the catalog for Mr. Lewis) To design annual limited edition Christmas ornaments, to be made by Gorham Silversmiths.  The collection was sold by subscription only and was limited 9800 annually.  Subscribers were assigned on a "first come" basis, and would receive the same number each year.

Each ornament wieghs a full Troy ounce of Sterling Silver.  This sterling ornament comes with original felt box.  The ornament is an estate piece and in Excellent condition.
