Snow Skiers Sterling Christmas Ornament 1997.   This sterling collectible shows a mand and woman skiers.  Until about 1860 skiing was primarily used for practical transport purposes in snow-rich areas, from around 1860 skiing for recreation, exercise and competition was introduced. Many types of competitive skiing events are recognized by the International Olympic Committee, and the International Ski Federation.
 
This item was originally made for Boston Museum of Fine Arts.  The size of this ornament is about 2-1/2" Tall by 1-1/2" Wide. This Sterling Silver Ornament is in Excellent like new collectible condition.
