Museum of Fine Arts in Boston started selling Sterling Snowflake ornaments in 1983 with a Japanese Snowflake, and started issuing  an Annual Sterling Snowflake in 1989 and ended the series in 2003.  The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, Massachusetts, is one of the largest museums in the United States, attracting over one million visitors a year.
