Aegean Weave Candy Cane Sterling Ornament  2010 Wallace 3rd Edition.  The 2010 edition of the Wallace Sterling Candy Cane series ornament is the 3rd Edition.  This year featuring the Aegean Weave pattern.  This item is flat on the back side, and suitable for engraving. The size of this ornament is about 4-1/2" X 2".

This sterling collectible takes it inspiration from the Structural Decoration; Architectural features, such as columns, friezes and various mouldings; mural decoration, such as fresco-paintings, coloured reliefs and mosaic inlay.  The nets and baskets handwoven by fisherman centuries ago are still evident along the coasts.
