You are bidding on a very nice painting by an accomplished, and well-listed artist, Linda Norford-Cross.

There is NO RESERVE! The final bid is the price this painting will sell for!

Funny story behind this painting.... I purchased it at a flea market in New York City 6 years ago and could not find any information on the artist signature. All I knew was that it's a great little painting, regardless of the "brand name". It's a really nice, minimalist composition with harmonious colors. A few months ago I did a google search on the name - and voila! Lo and behold I discovered that this was painted by Linda Norford-Cross who is represented in many prominent museum, and private collections. She has been successfully painting for 50 years, and by looking at her latest work we can see she is a major talent who continues to push the boundaries of art.

The painting you are bidding on was done early in Linda's career, and represents the New Mexico desert landscape.

Paintings by Linda Norford Cross sell for $3,000-$10,000 in prominent galleries. Take advantage of this ebay auction!
THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION! The final bid, is what it will sell for.

(Below is an excerpt of an email I received from the artist when I inquired about the painting)

Hello,
Well, this is amazing! I found a check list from the East Side Gallery in New York City listing the sale of:

Desert, 1962
casein, 23" x 18"

I think this must be your painting. (Galleries seldom give me the name of the buyers)  I went to graduate school in New Mexico and found that landscape to be a wonderful influence. I occasionally continued this theme after moving to New York City in 1961. My work continues to explore landscape, currently the Hudson River Valley, where we live now.
