An Early 1900s Chas T. Wilt Trunk/Chest in Great Condition (very solid and heavy). I purchased the chest already refinished but intentionally left rough and rustic looking by the refinisher. Its covered in what appears to be canvas or leather and has brass fasteners and a lock. The lock is broken where it hinges but its hardly noticeable when the trunk lid is closed. There is a brass plaque engraved Chas. T. Wilt (Maker) 40 E. Madison st. Chicago. It measures 30.5" across x 22.5" tall x 18.5" front to back. I would estimate its weight to be 50-75 lbs.
