A Wooden Chinese War Horse Plated in a Mosaic of Ox Bone. This piece is absolutely unbelievable. I haven't been able to find another one like it or anyone who has seen one. I did talk with a women who said she ran an estate sale several years ago and the owners had an elephant a little bit smaller but made in the same fasion that sold for $3000. This piece is impressive in pictures but even more so when seen in person up close. It likely took hundreds of skilled man hours to meticulously cut and fit each piece of bone together around the horse and then heavily carve the entire thing. Also hanging from the saddle are hanging carved claws and ornaments attached on each side. It is striking. I don't believe the horse is antique - It could be 20 years old or maybe 60, I haven't been able to find any information as to its age. It measures 45.5" long x 43" tall x 11.5" wide.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
