This is a silver plated serving dish.  It is a little tarnished, i cleaned the top of the lid with a silver cleaner but did not do the botto of the lid.  I cleaned the base with silver cleaner, to show you how beautiful this really is.  It comes with the casserole dish, and the bunson burner to warm the dish.  This is a good sized dish, it measures,  15 1/2 inches long, 9 inches wide, and 10 inches tall.  This would be great for the holidays, serving your favorite dishes and keeping it warm on the table.  I will send this out asap to get it to you for the holidays.  Merry Christmas
