This auction is for a vintage dress, "as found" at an estate sale. It is a gold metallic color dress with silver metallic threads making the gold shimmer. There is a black lace outer layer over the gold shell of the dress.It is a short sleeve, with a satin 1 1/2" cuff at the edge of the sleeve. The dress gives the appearance of being two pieces, is all sewn as one. This dress is a hand sewn, it is machine stitched on all but the hem of the dress which looks machine basted and hand done with bias tape, this is a one of a kind type of dress. There is a 21" long metal zipper in the back of the gold dress, and there are no fiber content tags in the dress, simply one small one that states" LOT, Size 16 1/2".The dress has several  pulls of the silver thread especially around the zipper area.  I am guessing this dress is made of synthetic fabric of some kind. As found, means I have not attempted to wash, or iron this dress. It will need a little TLC when you get it. The bust of this dress measures about 42", hips about 44" and the dress is about 37" from shoulder to hem. Overall this dress is in very good condition for age, A Nifty vintage piece.
