In the Blue Lagoon UV-C, is a UV radiation generated by the special lamp with a wavelength of 253.7 nm , which kills algae as well bacteria and viruses.

The Blue Lagoon UV-C Spa provides clean, fresh and clear water in an efficient and environmentally friendly manner.
The water is fed through the UV-C machine by a pump.
The UV-C radiation from the lamp neutralises bacteria, viruses and other primitive organisms and prevents them from reproducing.
In addition, the stainless-steel interior reflects the UV-C radiation, thereby increasing the efficiency by up to 35%.
