Released for Verizon Wireless, the Samsung Alias 2 is a dual-hinge
messaging clamshell with an e-ink transforming keypad that actually
changes based on what the user needs. When the handset is opened
vertically as a clamshell, a traditional numeric keypad appears. In
landscape mode, the Alias 2 features a QWERTY keypad with numbers and
symbols. The handset has RemoSync to synchronize corporate email,
contacts and calendars from an office PCs. Additional features include a
built-in 2.0-megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.0, VZ Navigator for
turn-by-turn directions and a microSD card slot with support for up to
16GB.
