Our sheets are real silk, NOT "Silky" (a term used by polyester sheet salesmen for their hot, slippery product). Silk is a natural.fiber, so it breathes with you. Cool in the summer, they wick moisture away from your body. Warm in the winter, they conform to your body to help hold your body heat in. Hypoallergenic, too.

Unlike most silk sheets on the market, ours are seamless. How can you be comfortable sleeping on a seam? Why? The majority of the silk weaving looms are too narrow for sheets and it's cost prohibitive for most manufacturers to buy special equipment for just one product.

These are from Magpie Trading's Head Honcho's own private stash. Once she tried silk, there was no going back to cotton sheets again, so she stocked up when Kohls decided to stop carrying them, thinking that as delicate as they felt, they'd wear out quickly. Well, 7 years later and she's only now retiring the first sets, so she decided to reduce her stockpile.

Our treasures come from a wide variety of sources. Some are new & some are gently used, but we always try to present you something we'd be happy to buy ourselves. Flaws are always pointed out to enable you to make an informed decision and so there are no unhappy surprises when it arrives.
