This wall mountable 4:3 ratio LCD beautifully supports 720p HD, and is only about 1 inch thick. Released at a trade show in 2000, this monitor was among the first production TFT LCD screens to feature rise and fall times of less than 10 ms, allowing for the first accurate reproduction of 55 and 60 hz refresh rates-- the minimum suitable for HD televsion, DVD, and video gaming. The SDM N80 also features a user sensor with distance configuration, and was sony's first application of an ambient light sensor to adjust screen brightness on the fly.
It features a separate "media engine" for all video and audio inputs, as well as USB passthrough functionality.
