Iowa Spine Research Center of the Biomedical Engineering Department at
The University of Iowa and patent co-applicant Chase Ergonomics, Inc.
have collaborated on the development of the Accupressure Back Support.
The breakthrough discovery used in creating this support is a new
understanding of how the human body reacts to sudden, unexpected events
(accidents) which result in applied loading (stress) to the lumbar
spine. One study has shown that, during such events, the strong back
muscles can over-contract by as much as 70%. This over-contraction is
often the hazard that triggers back injury. The Accupressure Back
Support reduces this excess exertion by up to 46%. In addition, the
Iowa studies documented less fatigue in subjects wearing the
Accupressure back support. Proprietary acupressure-effect pad made with
composite lightweight materials works biomechanically to reduce the
overreaction of the back muscles during an unexpected loading event.
How to wear: The support should be worn over the first layer of
clothing--such as a shirt or t-shirt--but not over a vest or jacket. It
should fit the curve of the lower back without bulk between the support
and the back. The support should rest LOW on the hips, where low back
pain occurs, between the navel and tailbone, over the lumbar vertebrae.
Do not wear the support up high, as if it were a belt or a corset.

Store returns are just that. When you buy something at a store like Best Buys and then take it home and have buyers remorse or possibly a birthday or Christmas gift you cannot really use so you take it back to the store. Once the packages have been compromised the stores send the item back in and that is where we buy it from them. These items in most cases are just like brand new with possible damage to the package so they cannot be sold in the electronics store that originally sold the item.
What I Do
I inspect the contents if the package has been opened. Will test the product if possible and make sure it works as it should. We will re-package the inspected items and pack them for sale in their original package.
Returns
We will take returns for items that do not work within 3 days of purchased provided the item is returned in the condition it was sent. Will not take returns on any items sold "as is" or as "scrap"
