Images from the classic 1980s G.I. JOE cartoon series are captured in the new battle packs, which include a 5-episode mini-series DVD and 3 to 4 highly articulated 3-3/4-inch figures pulled from these episodes.
The 25th Anniversary: Series 01: Weather Dominator Battle Pack includes the following figures/accessories:
Lady Jaye: Lady Jaye's resculpted head resembles her cartoon likeness; she's clad in contour-hugging green fatigues and gloves, complete with brown backpack, pistol & tan belt w/ holster. Lady Jaye is equipped with one of her trademark javelins. In her capacity as intelligence specialist, Lady Jaye is an accomplished linguist, mime and actress; these abilities allow her to perform virtually perfect impersonations.
Roadblock: This version of Roadblock is depicted in the process of doggedly hacking his way free of green predatory vines; the vines were developed by Destro and tested upon a group of Joes. Roadblock is clad in a greenish yellow shirt and rust-colored pants and green gloves, complete with dark green harness and belt; the photo shows Roadblock's combat knife, though it's unclear as to whether the vine cluster accessory would replace Roadblock's sovereign machinegun w/ tripod.
Destro: This version of Destro is clad in a metallic silver mask, black uniform with a red collar, and grey gauntlets, belt and boots; Destro is equipped with a pistol & leg-mounted holster. In his capacity as the power behind MARS (Military Armaments Research System), Destro supplies the Cobra organization with high-tech arms. Destro organizes the theft of a laser core in order to complete his Weather Dominator.
Weather Dominator accessory: An arrow-shaped component mounted atop a cone-shaped base, the Weather Dominator allowed Cobra to influence and direct a number of hostile weather conditions. The Joes more or less failed in their efforts to countermine the Dominator. Eventually the Weather Dominator was shattered into three fragments, and the Joes and Cobras entered a race to retrieve the pieces.
