Images from the classic 1980's G.I. JOE cartoon series are captured in the new battle packs, which include a 5-episode mini-series DVD and 3 to 4 highly articulated 3-3/4-inch figures pulled from these episodes.
The 25th Anniversary: Series 01: Weather Dominator Battle Pack includes the following figures/accessories:
Lady Jaye: Lady Jaye's resculpted head resembles her cartoon likeness; she's clad in contour-hugging green fatigues and gloves, complete with brown backpack, pistol & tan belt w/ holster. Lady Jaye is equipped with one of her trademark javelins.
Roadblock: This version of Roadblock is depicted in the process of doggedly hacking his way free of green predatory vines; the vines were developed by Destro and tested upon a group of Joes. The photo shows Roadblock's combat knife, though it's unclear as to whether the vine cluster accessory would replace Roadblock's machinegun with tripod.
Destro: This version of Destro is clad in a metallic silver mask, black uniform with a red collar, and grey gauntlets, belt and boots; Destro is equipped with a pistol & leg-mounted holster. In his capacity as Cobra's arms supplier, Destro organizes the theft of a laser core in order to complete his Weather Dominator.
Weather Dominator accessory: An arrow-shaped component mounted atop a cone-shaped base, the Weather Dominator allowed Cobra to influence and direct a number of hostile weather conditions. The Joes more or less failed in their efforts to countermine the Dominator. Eventually the Weather Dominator was shattered into three fragments, and the Joes and Cobras entered a race to retrieve the pieces.
The 25th Anniversary: Series 01: The M.A.S.S. Device includes the following figures/accessories:
Snake Eyes and Timber: Snake Eyes features translucent red sections to recreate his exposure to radiation; though initially believed to be dead, the irradiated Snake Eyes wandered into the wilderness, where he was befriended by a wolf and received assistance from a blind hermit. Snake Eyes is equipped with a radioactive crystal fragment. Timber is a feral-looking fixed-pose figure with a grayish-white coat.
Stalker: This version of Stalker is clad in a beret, green/yellow camouflaged fatigues complete with tan harness and belt, knife & holster, and is equipped with a gun and jetpack accessory. Stalker is a qualified expert in the implementation of the M-14, M-16, M-1911A1 (Auto-Pistol), M-3A1 Grease Gun, and the M-32 “Pulverizer” Sub-Machine Gun.
Baroness: This version of the Baroness is clad in a sleek red diving suit, and is equipped with scuba gear and a knife and thigh-mounted scabbard. The Baroness participated in a battle on the ocean floor to secure one of the elements required for the operation of the M.A.S.S. Device; when both the Joes and Cobra were attacked by gigantic worms, the two teams were forced into a tentative and short-lived alliance.
Cobra Trooper: The Cobra Trooper is clad in a dark blue uniform with a blue helmet and black mask, the Cobra Trooper is equipped with a black harness and belt, a silver combat knife & leg-mounted scabbard, and a machinegun. The raw material of the Cobra army, the Cobra Trooper is marked by an austere chest-borne Cobra insignia.
