'Will Ye Go Lassie Go', penned by Francis McPeake the 1st in the late 1940s has been on the lips of every single person across the globe that has found themselves in an Irish pub, concert or festival.
This album marks the first 'McPeake's' recording of 'Will Ye Go Lassie Go' since the 1963 'McPeake Family' recording with Topic Records.
Francis McPeake IV, the fourth generation of this world-famous musical dynasty has put together a revived band 'McPEAKE'. Francis McPeake IV, Mairead Forde, Sean O'Kane and Peter Wallace make up 'McPEAKE' and although not directly related to Francis, each member has shared a long history together at the prestigious Francis McPeake School of Music, under the tutelage of Francis Mc Peake III.
