This is a handmade, Mennonite cape dress, I cannot tell you how lovely it is.  It looks like it has hardly been used, it may have been for a wedding, very dressy.   The fabric is a lovely polyester, it is a dark red, the belt and the edge of the sleeve are the same color, just slightly shinier (the sewer used the opposite side of the fabric) and it looks BEAUTIFUL!     All of the edges of the fabric are serged  to prevent fraying and so it will last longer.    There is a invisible zipper in the back.  This dress has a square neck, the skirt is a gored skirt.  The sleeves are fitted and a little tie belt comes around the front of the dress.    As with all handmade dresses, check the measurements below.

From the middle of the shoulder seam to the waistline, measures 14 inches.  This dress is made to have a slightly higher waistline and longer skirt, so you may want to make note of that.

From waistline to edge of hem is 36 inches. 

The waistline measures 28-30 inches. 

Bust is 32-34.
