This is a handmade Mennonite cape dress.  The fabric is a plaid tan/white polyester that does not need to be ironed, the texture is a small nubbin running across the plaid squares.     There is an invisible zipper in the back.    The edges of the fabric are murred to prevent fraying.   In my opinion, this would make a lovely  dress for a small  woman , as with all other handmade dresses, check the measurements closely.

The measurement from the middle of the shoulder seam to the waistline is 15 inches.

From the wasit to the hem measures 34 1/2  inches, the very bottom has the plaid running diagonally for a slight effect, this could be hemmed up if you need to shorten it. 

The waistline measurement is 28 inches, the skirt is a fitted skirt so you will want to check the waistline quite closely.
